Paid for my room but at check in nothing available
I booked a room on Hotels.com for this motel. I paid for one nights accomodation with my credit card and received a CONFIRMED RESERVATION. Upon checking in, the property advised me that there are no rooms available so I had to stay somewhere else. After contacting Hotels.com they say "we are trying to get in touch with the property but have no reply", then, next thing is that a refund cannot be given as it was a room which there are no changes or refunds allowed. I want my refund as it is purely a mistake between Hotels.com and the motel. A week has gone by now with no resolution, I don't recommend this property.
Overall, very decent, and on par with the cost. Everything was clean and accessible.

On arrival could not check in as the Rix claimed our booking had been cancelled. Inconvenienced by drive on to next town for accommodation & multiple phone calls to obtain a refund. Do not recommend.

Our biggest issuse was that we couldn’t get a meal in bistro as we hadn’t booked and were directed to go across the road for takeaway
The staff had a care factor zero
Interesting that we received an email via Wotif about their wonderful facilities especially the Britsro and how they looking forward to our stay
Basically we got what we paid for. At 189cm the double bed was too small. The room was small, but adequate. A faint smell from the garbage was a bit strong. Great help the young fella though.
