"The place itself is nice enough. Although the furniture size to room size makes no sense.
Very little extra amenities like coffee -
Its mostly always well cleaned.
But the 1 star comes from the staff. Absolute terrible management. Cancelled my reservation last minute, refused to speak on the phone.
Another time i stayed , I had a major issue. Texted and called - no one answered until late morning. Then proceeded to say we made it up. And when we got frustrated at this - they banned me from...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Great George Hotel in Charlottetown. The beautifully restored heritage buildings, comfortable accommodations, and warm Island hospitality made for a wonderful stay and great choice for my birthday trip! The location is perfect for exploring downtown Charlottetown on foot, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast and afternoon treats were a lovely touch. "The property was nice and the room was comfortable but the breakfast was rather disappointing compared to how it was depicted on the website. "The Rodd was a great place to stay. The style and decor showcased the history and charm of the era and the hotel itself. The only downside to this location was the water pressure in the unit which was extremely minimal. It was usable, but not what would be expected.
Aside from that everything was clean and comfortable. The windows and the view they provided were amazing. The location is also prime."
