Location, property condition and balcony are all fabulous. Our family of 5 loved Chania and the apartment. The apartment is on the harbor so parking is a challenge. The communication with the host (common ownership with a hotel 800M away) needs improvement.

One block from all the action in Old Venetian Harbour! Central air conditioning was very welcome. Close to all amenities like groceries, shops, cafés, bars restaurants. Area is quite “lively” at night during our stay. We could hear patrons of the many nearby bars and restaurants… didn’t bother us at all. Shower was lovely. Bathroom and half bath were appreciated by 4 adults! Beds were comfortable, no complaints!

We stayed in Pasiphae, the Avra apartment over two levels and with a balcony overlooking the harbour. It was amazing, without a doubt one of the best holiday apartments we have stayed in. Beautifully fitted out to a high standard; enormous; amazing views from the balcony - we sat there every night till late and felt like we were part of the buzz but in a VIP area! And the soundproofing was completely effective at keeping out noise from the local bars. Plus daily service from a very friendly housekeeper. Totally recommended.

I wish the parking situation was better explained. I ended up parking in a public area that was a few streets away from the apartment. It was free and safe, but it wasn't clear from the initial directions as to where to park.

Where do I start... The view was spectacular, the apartment was beyond our expectations very comfortable and spacious and in walking distance to restaurants, bars and shopping. Even though the apartment is in a great location and on the Harbour you could not here the noise from the Harbour. Our apartment had two bedrooms located downstairs that had their own bathrooms with two large tubs to relax in after a long day of site seeing. Upon arrival we met the housekeeper Helena who showed us around the apartment and made us feel at home. The apartment was also very well furnished with plenty of room. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit with Crete.
