"The Ibis Styles is a very short, flat walk to/from Terminals 3&4. There is a shuttle if you don’t want to walk but it 5 min max to walk. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff were great."

"I recently stayed at Flagstaff Gardens Hotel Melbourne and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with their valet parking service. I paid $65 for valet parking, which I was completely fine with — I understand that’s their standard charge. However, the service was extremely poor. When I requested my car, I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. I ended up waiting 25 minutes and the car still wasn’t there. When I asked again how much longer it would take, they simply said, “Sorry, we forgot.” I couldn’t believe it. After that, I had to wait another 20 minutes. In total, they wasted almost an hour of my time. Because of this delay, I missed a specialist appointment that I had travelled 5 hours to attend. This was very important to me, and the lack of professionalism and care from the valet team caused serious inconvenience. Charging $65 for valet is fine — but the service should at least be organised and reliable. Very disappointing experience."

"This hotel is in a fantastic central location. Staff were brilliant. We loved the mezzanine as it was a great place to chil when we got back after a day out and about. Spotlessly clean room and hotel.. We had breakfast in the restaurant. It was great to be able to pay as you go we had delicious porridge and a large coffee each day. I was a little disappointed with the room and bathrom. They were tired and small. We didn't ask for another room when we arrived and just enjoyed our holiday as maybe I hadn't looked closely enough. If I booked again I would look carefully at the room options. "
