There are some grocery shops nearby in walking proximity. And the area is really quiet. You can experience the old Tashkent just outside. "We had a very short stay, arriving in Tashkent at 1am in the morning, and leaving at 7:15 am for an early flight back to the US. They have 24 hour reception and check in was easy--it is close to the airport which allowed an extra 1.5 hrs of sleep--very welcome! Our room was actually a suite, and I'm only sorry we were there so brieftly."
