"Chateau De Maraval was just the castle experience we wanted from the medieval region from France. We were on a girl's trip and were provided two rooms that were beautifully furnished and stocked up. All the interiors was tastefully done. Outside of the castle is medieval but the rooms were with modern amenities. It was like living the best of two worlds. The property is well maintained. The staff were very helpful and kind. We had an amazing time. We definitely would recommend this for families...

"Stunning location and easy to find. The hosts / owners are super friendly and will help you with anything. The room was clean and had everything you needed. Lovely breakfast on the terrace. You can walk down to the river too (10 minutes) and the sunset is stunning. Would recommend."

"I liked the location. However, for a two bedroom suite, we only got 3 small (1 tsp) packets of shower soap for our 3 night stay. They were not replenished the entire time. Also, there was no hand soap at the sinks in either of the bathrooms. To me, soap for the sinks and shower should be a basic that is always provided at a hotel."

"A charming single story hotel in the countryside with views of at least 4 castles from the property. Our room had access to the patio(terasse) where we could sit outside and enjoy the weather. Easy drive to go out for dinner to multiple charming towns and villages. Very friendly and helpful staff, good continental breakfast. We liked it so much we decided to stay 2 extra nights. Good place to base yourself and explore the region."

"This charming hotel is well located off the highways and town in a lovely residential area. Peace and quiet but just 10- minutes drive from Sarlet. The large terrace off the dining room provides an ideal dining area with a beautiful views across the Vally. Professional and personal services from every members of the staff made my four night stay a delight. Fine dining from breakfast till dinner. It also seemed to be a favorite spot for the locals too. "Beautiful location. Private, renovated, air conditioned lodging within larger renovated countryside farmstead complex (including a pool) was unique, quaint and a great experience. Nourishing breakfast included and served on the patio of the main house. Kitchen available to guests 24/7. Need a car and a good navigation system. We used Google Maps."
