Merchants Manor

"A beautiful building and very friendly staff. We were upgraded to a room with a beautiful view of the sea and a jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was plentiful with a huge range of food, all fresh and well prepared. Again the staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble, all done with a smile. We didn’t visit the spa so can’t comment. I would recommend "

"Room could have been cleaned better as toilet had :residue stain' carpets not hoovered fully, and the compliment cookies one had been bitten. -Breakfast; would benefit if we could access coffee straight away instead of waiting ages once seated... breakfast requests are not done and a long wait for it as though it had."

"Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers. However idle rocks was perfect !!"
