Tea/coffee and biscuit were replenished daily. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, with lots of local advice - we couldn’t have chosen a better guest house for our Lake District break. "overall our weekend break in the Salutation Hotel, Ambleside was very enjoyable, couldnt fault the very pleasant staff/ service. The meals especially the Breakfast was outstanding. Our room was very comfortable and had everything required for an enjoyable stay. One struggle initially was the parking but eventually we got sorted and it was a very busy Bank holiday weekend."
