"Its a rustic room. It was clean and had ample room. It’s self check-in so I had no personal conversations with staff. The other guests seemed very nice. Yes, there are little things but we really enjoyed the time there. It’s quiet and easy to relax. We used it as a base camp for trips to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks"

"This place is perfect if you just need a bed on way to the park. Walls are very thin so you can easily hear neighbors and road noise. Room (#4) was tiny with small bathroom. It was clean, TV and wifi worked great. Hot water stopped while taking shower but luckily i had already washed. Staff were not welcoming or friendly. However she did look up my door code nicely enough. Best thing is that rooms are connected to a restaurant that served cold beer in iced mugs! Husband loved his pasta dish and my fish & chips were just ok."

"Great property. We had a major incident in our home, prompting a stay at a local hotel. We were very pleased with the staff, our room and the facilities. Jacuzzi was out of order, but we were told that prior to getting to the pool area. A great bonus was the property cat (outdoors). Lovable and entertaining."

"Easy check in process, room was great ! Room 14 the Queen Suite has a lot of room , cool skylight above the bed and was insulated very well. If you like the historic hotel experience I highly recommend it. Idk why people say the hot water doesn’t work, it was boiling hot the moment we turned it on. No issues at all to complain about (:"
