Cliff House at Pikes Peak

"My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Cliff House in a Junior Suite on the 4th floor. The room was clean, spacious, and very quiet. We had a great view overlooking Manitou Springs and the mountains. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious with 2 sinks. There was a jetted tub combined with a shower. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the tub because the water temperature would only get luke warm. This was really odd since the hot water at the sink was very hot. Dining options at the hotel were sparse and pricey, and definitely not kid friendly. Thankfully, the walk to main street is less than 5 minutes from the hotel. Once on Main street there are numerous dining options along with extensive shopping. From Main street you can also take the free shuttle to the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. This is by far the best, and less stressful, way to get to the Cog Railway. There is a huge renovation going on at the hotel but we never heard any noise in our room. Overall, this is great location, not to mention staying in a building that dates back to the 1800's, and hosted royalty and a U.S. President!"

"We were pleasantly surprised when we got a corner room and it had floor to ceiling windows on two walls with a lovely view of the mountains. The king size bed was very comfortable, room was clean and the casino area was also very clean. Check in and out were easy and the staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend, request a corner room!"

"Great place to stay I will add. The kitchen faucet leaks. The toilet handle is tight so if you don’t shake it, it will run. And there were only 2 hangers to hang your clothes on. Still great place"

"Cozy cabin with comfortable temperature inside. Includes a microwave and mini fridge. Folding chairs are a little uncomfortable and be aware that the office is closed after 6pm. Not bad for the price."
