I had to sleep on the couch in order not to feel pain from my back. As for the service, we had a good experience with the restaurant personnel as well as the purser. But the reception employee provided a sub par service. A final word, this resort has not the structure for individuals having a mobility impairment. "

"I booked a double room, and it was spacious and clean. The location is good - close to a supermarket and restaurant choices although a walk from the old town. Good for a stay if you're hiking the Fisherman's Trail although the luke warm shower wasn't all that "

"We had an incredible time at Monte da Vilharinha. Driving into the property is like something out of a movie. The rural landscape boasts quintessential while buildings, herds of cows with bells, fields of flowers and streams. When we arrived we were greeted by Jafer and the property dog cookie. Jafer was the most incredible host guiding us around the property, letting us know where to take the (free) bikes and available to answer any questions via WhatsApp at any time. Breakfast is included...

"Unbelievable view of the beautiful cliffs and water from every room. Very clean property. Surprised that the pool was not heated (solar could be a cheap alternative)."

"Spectacular location on a cliff top overlooking a beautiful beach. Front desk and restaurant staff were very kind and welcoming. Shared the dining room with a noisy bus full, but otherwise had a very pleasant stay. Enjoyed a fine walk to the next town along, but not too near the cliffs to west of the Pousada. Booked a premium room, but offered a suite at no extra charge."

"I drove up to the beach and saw this hotel. Its in an absolute perfect location. I first booked 1 night and booked 2 more after. A few restaurants around, plenty of parking. John at the front desk was great! I would stay in this hotel again."

"The place was beautiful and the owners were beyond accommodating. We had so much fun relaxing at the pool and going to the beach in the morning. It’s a little outside of Lagos but definitely worth the stay"
