"We had a terrible experience. We were not told of the Construction taking place until we checked in. The manager said there was not notification on the website when I looked. It was there, but it all said construction happening in the lobby area. Nothing about Construction in the rooms. We were also told that Construction starts at eight and typically ends by two we shouldn’t experience too much noise. They put us in a room where the flooring was being torn out. It literally sounded like they were coming through our floor and this started at 6 AM. I called and complained. We had to move rooms. their service recovery was a free breakfast voucher however our new room housekeeping was vacuuming that evening at 11 PM. We were in town for a volleyball tournament so nobody got any sleep when I complain to the manager he did not care at all his service recovery was to give me Hilton points, which I’m still waiting on. It’s been a week if you staffed that I did interact with however was very helpful. Very nice. I do think when the renovations are done the hotel will be quite lovely but I hope they get a manager. That actually gives a crap because this one did not. "

"The location is great. The room was clean and quiet. The WiFi was not so great and didn’t work well and would shut off. The spa really is just a steam room. The pool is more so to exercise rather than to relax. There are no loungers to put your feet up and the pool water is very cold. Wish there was a jacuzzi but seems to be a rare amenity to find in Boston. "

"Amazing overnight stay in Boston, my 1st. No shortage of AWESOME hotels that are super accessible not only to transportation but also local businesses and food! But I'd be hard-pressed to choose any over The Revo! Not to mention the proximity to theaters, sites, and the Back Bay train station. Revolution is also in a nice quiet neighborhood that's great for pets and those that are diffently-abled. Lobby is warm and inviting, staff that's extra-friendly and helpful, and lots of cool art and offerings. Room was great- perfectly appointed, not to mention the affordability (think $142.00 for an overnight with noon check-out...right? Can't say enough. Super walkable to public transportation. A dream for working travellers. Join the Revolution;)"

"In my notes upon reservation I requested a room away from loud areas, i have trouble sleeping and the person i stayed with had a 2 hour drive to work at 4 am and we were roomed above bar , the bar in the lobby outside my room with open walls. Bar was closed but was loud filled with guest until far after midnight, i could understand while bars open but there was no rules or anything that were outside those hours as other guests are staying over. I did call and request if they had other rooms available as I understand its not their fault for guests enjoying the space but they only had a room 4 down which was in the same area, they did offer complimentary breakfast for the trouble which was a nice gesture and breakfast staff was incredibly nice and helpful both days i had breakfast there. The front desk staff was very nice in personality, the next day i was able to be moved down the hall on the third floor this time which was alot better in terms of sound but the room smelled like cigarettes and wasent non smoking like the other room. I have asthma so this bothered it while staying in it i woke up with a sore throat. I assumed because they were booked the night before that they didnt have room and didnt wanna change again. Although breakfast was a nice gesture for the issue i dont feel was adequate for the equivalent issue of not being able ti get sleep vs another stay would have been proper for the night n sleep being compromised but he did not sleep well at all either.
