"Rooms were very clean but could do with a paint and freshen up. good coffee and tea making facilities. Staff were nice and very helpful. Breakfast service wasn't great, ran out of food and it wasn't replaced for 20 mins and didn't feel like anyone was taking charge. The staff did really well to deal with everyone waiting."

"On arrival the reception staff were brilliant and friendly. Rooms were ready on arrival but cleanseness not up to standard Dot from restaurant was amazing and remembered our table and our special event that was happening. She is a true gem. "The history of the hotel is the best thing about it. Unfortunately, the room and our personal experience, let it down. The room is very simple but all you need, if you’re just needing somewhere to sleep. If you’re expecting a modern twist, then I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. However, the hotel bar has a nice vibe.
