"Great place, incredible staff !"

"The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. The only problem was that the resort was doing noisy renovations on the bungalow right next door however when we reported the issue, the staff responded quickly to stop the renovations and noise. Wally, Amanda and Leticia were very welcoming and attentive. "

"My husband and l are from the USA and stayed for one week in February 2026 in a room with a king size bed and ocean views. I was very nervous about going to a remote island with no chain hotels or known car rental agencies. The island businesses are completely run by locals using whatsapp. Mar em Mim had only 12 reviews at the time l made the reservation, so it was kinda risky, but l it had everything l wanted. I was so pleasantly surprised. The pousada (bed & breakfast) was exactly as pictured and the workers there are lovely. The location was great too, very quiet but just a few steps from the bus stop. We rented a car but ended up regretting paying R$600 per day while one bus ride was R$5. Our stay was exquisite and l cannot give enough praises to the entire staff. My husband is lactose intolerant and they made lactose free desserts for him every day! The breakfast was yummy, the guy managing the reception (Will) speaks english and is extremely helpful, the room had air conditioning, the king bed was comfy and the high speed wifi internet worked fine. I hope this will help other visitors make their decision. I’d definitely stay there again!"

"This is such a gem. It has the view of the most iconic site on the island. If you like sleeping with sounds of the waves this is it. The room was nice and clean. The manager was able to answer any questions through WhatsApp during day and night. I’m gonna go back to the same place when I visit Fernando de Noronha again. "
