It's been a long time since we stayed at a B&B in Cape May. The Dormer House is in a good location and we walked to the beach, restaurants, and to meet up with tours. I really enjoyed our room because we had a sitting area, giving us space to watch a little TV at night and work out in the morning. The small refrigerator was also helpful.
Nancy greeted us like family as usual. The breakfasts are fantastic and staff is always friendly. Have stayed here numerous times and as always everything is perfect.

We've been visiting Dormer House for some years and continue to love the location, the excellent parking area and the low key porch vibe. And staff have always been uniformly pleasant and helpful.
Love the room. Love the outstanding housekeeping. Breakfast needs work with more healthy options. Odd lack of any sense of ownership, our first experience with a "corporate" B&B. Personal touches are gone since place was sold. We stayed here twice before the sale.We will probably go back as we love the room and quiet location. Parking is easy too.
Nancy and Angie were so gracious. The Dormer House is in a great location, is quite comfortable, and has wonderful breakfasts. I would definitely go back!
All the housekeepers were excellent. They were friendly and were very helpful.
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Afternoon cookies were a delightful treat along with tea.
The room was comfortable and clean. The property was quiet and relaxing.
We will definitely visit again and recommend to others.
Dormer house itself shows its age and may not suite the younger crowd, but evokes a gentile atmosphere of the Victorian era very pleasant for those who appreciate that age.
The staff was amazing. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! It is a lovely old home! I loved my suite! The steps are not for the faint of heart but I’m 64 I did fine
Nice room with sitting area and bathroom with walk-in shower. Very comfortable king size bed. Great location for walking to washington street mall and beach, convention center and many restaurants. Can park once and walk but also easy drives to birding, wineries, brewery and distillery.
Horrible. Curtains did not block out light. Breakfast was not healthy and dry. Staff not helpful and people were noisy. Staff did nothing to assist. We had to leave early and were in spring break. So very disappointed. They still have not addressed my concerns via email
We loved the ambiance of the Dormer House. It is so quaint! The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hope to return one day!
