"Very kind and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Enjoyed the breakfast options. Will plan to return here next time!"

"Everyone was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was good; however, could have been better if there were pastries and actual scrambled eggs."

"Nice place. Standard towel free breakfast. Friendly staff. Good price. I was happy with my stay"

"Super clean hotel!"

"Really enjoyed our stay"

"My husband and I liked the easy access to the beach (under 5 minutes from our room). We are both in our 60’s, so not having to walk a long distance (carrying chairs, dog, etc) to get to the beach was important to us. Also, many thanks for allowing dogs to stay in your motel! This was a plus for us in making a reservation with you! The staff was friendly and helpful too, so thank you!"

"This was such a wonderful stay. The Beach House is so convenient to everything and just a walk across the street to the beach and pier. The Lazy Turtle is a perfect spot as well for a quick bite to eat or a delicious drink. The staff was so kind and helpful. We forgot our beach chairs and they have rentals that were incredibly reasonable so we could enjoy the day. They even loved on our sweet pup as well. We will definitely be back"

"Overall great place. Comfy beds, great pillows, clean and great view."

"Very nicely upkept."

"Cute little hotel right in the heart of Carolina Beach. If you bring your bike, you’ll not need to get in your car till you’re ready to leave. The boardwalk area is an easy walk: just a block away."

"We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family."

"MOLD. We are a family of 4 with one small child and a baby. When we were getting ready for bed, we discovered a large amount of mold on the ceiling. We notified the host who offered other accommodations that would require us to be split into different rooms. We opted for a refund and took the long journey home that same night. That was 2 months ago and still no refund. Location is good though"

"The room was clean, staff was very helpful. Pet friendly was a plus. The ocean view was amazing and awesome to walk out the door right to the beach."
