"Only stayed one night as we travelled from Glacier to Yellowstone, but really enjoyed this hotel. Breakfast was wonderful, the lobby has a lot of character for a chain hotel, parking was a breeze, and our room had a door that opened to the indoor pool which was perfect for the kids. Will definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Helena, MT."

"The price was by far the best feature. The room did not contain a wastebasket. There was a TV on the wall but no sign of a controller to operate it. The air conditioner was very noisy. There were clean towels and a bar of soap, that was nice."

"The desk clerk was very rude when I got there to check in. I got there at 2:30 and asked to checked in and she very rudely told me check in isn’t until 3:00. Came back at 3:20 and still no clean rooms. Back at 8:30 and we for our room. The floor had not been vacuumed and there was dog hair everywhere and dog food on the floor. I asked the front desk staff to please vacuum my floor as we were there for 2 nights. They said sure and it never got done. Breakfast the second morning: they had no forks...

"The room was clean and comfortable, & the facility was nice. BUT the staff was incredibly rude when we tried to check in early. I understand that they don’t always have rooms available early, but instead of just saying that, the staff laughed & mocked us for attempting to check in a couple of hours early. If we hadn’t had already paid online, we would’ve stayed somewhere else."

"Hotel was okay but in a weird spot. Not much around it so you will need to drive for supper, etc. The room was clean and quiet but we did wake up stuffy from something in the room. Wasnt too impressed that some homeless people are sleeping in their vehicles in the parking lot."

"Our room was clean and tidy. The sofa bed is a nice addition for the room use. The bathrooms were spotless and the walk in shower is very user friendly and safe. Sarah, who checked us in, was very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking and access to our room was very easy. The breakfast was hot and filling and there were plenty of choices. They did a good job meeting the needs of dietary restrictions. The location made us easy to get around Helena to our various events."

"Awesome find! Some of the old pictures showed beds with those old type of comforters and I thought it would be an mediocre experience for $85. When we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised, the room was clean, the beds were super comfortable, the bedding and comforter were super soft and comfy like in a Holiday Inn, and they had a skinny and a fluffy pillow, what was perfect for us. The bathroom was clean. So besides the somewhat outdated furniture, TV and MW, and actual is eys to open...

"Lamplighter Cabins is such a cute place to stay! The check-in process was easy and convenient, with the staff leaving the key in our cabin before we arrived. We enjoyed taking a walk through the neighborhood and loved the charming old-town atmosphere. It's too bad we were only there for a short time because we would have loved to explore more. We had a wonderful stay, and if we're ever back in Helena, we would definitely stay at Lamplighter Cabins again."

"The people were kind, but the hotel is very minimal. No pool or hot tub. They have one they’re just full of chairs and storage. Definitely a missed opportunity. One of those hotels you can tell doesn’t care much about the property because they’ll make the money given the location anyway. Could be a super cute place though given the right owners"

"Reasonable price and comfortable beds for a night close to the airport. My only complaint is the dismal vanity lighting. We could barely see well enough to shave/apply makeup. Someone needs to revisit the bulbs being used."

"Good location, the sink didn't drain well. Reported on our departure, desk clerk was very attentive to this issue. Said they would check on it. Water pressure not great in shower. Beds are in need of updating. Property was very nice and help was very courteous."
