"We were given an upgraded room at check-in, and asked to pay a £10 charge for an extra cleaning charge for our dog. I was expecting this charge as Expedia don't give an option for paying for it when booking online.
We dropped our bags in room and went out for a walk, on return we had a drink in the bar and went into restaurant for our evening meal which we both found uninspiring, especially the desserts.

"We had a great stay at The Evenhill. All the staff were very friendly. Our room was clean, warm and spacious. The shower was great and the towels were nice and large.
We didn’t get full WiFi signal in the room, but it wasn’t a problem.
We had dinner in the pub and everyone’s meal was excellent.
Breakfast the next morning was excellent as well; with plenty to fill us up!"

"Stayed at The Millers Arms for a show at The Marlowe Theatre. Lovely pub, room was well looked after and clean. Staff very friendly and a great breakfast included as well. 2 min walk to the theatre and a great choice of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend "
