"Great hotel with breakfast. We stayed for the night we arrived and it is just a few minutes from the airport and stayed again prior to leaving. Can be a bit noisy on the front side with traffic so we asked to stay on the backside for departure night. The airplanes going over are loud. "

"Wonderful lodge! Liked it so much we rearranged our itinerary to come back for another night. Super quiet & scenic. Really enjoyed the pool, deck, restaurant, and seeing birds, monkeys and iguanas. Arrived too late for pizza the first night, but stayed to have it for lunch and it truly was delicious. However, learned later that Costa Rica’s ban on feeding wildlife extends to private property and bird feeders, so it would better not to feed the birds at all, or at least farther from the deck so...

"It was a great stay. Property has both shared rooms and private ones. I had a private one with private bathroom. It was simple but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and the owner offers transport for a minimum fee. Will definitely stay again. "

"Spent the night after my flight and before taking the shuttle to Arenal. Daniel and his sweet wife were great!!! They are wonderful people, helped me with everything I needed and everything was from their hearts! The rooms are basic but clean, nice little garden. It is about 15-20 minutes away from the airport so you would hear every plane very loud but you would hear the same from any other hotel in that area."

"While the property is in a very convenient location, its convenience comes at the cost of increased noise due to airport runways being across the street. It didn’t bother us during the day, even though the noise is very apparent, but did wake us up at night a few times; thankfully not a ton of traffic in the middle of the night. Possibly not as obvious if your room was situated on the opposite side. Despite the noise, we would stay here again due to cleanliness and convenience. I might just ask...

"We didn't have time for the breakfast, but the front desk staff was not at all helpful when we asked for a shuttle to the airport late in the evening so we could return our rental car. There was a giant cockroach in the bathroom, the vanity was falling apart, and there was mold/ dirt on the bathroom ceiling. "

"This place is about 1hour and 45min from SJO and it was the perfect trip for a few days to visit nearby Parrita and Jaco. We wanted a quiet romantic bitoque hotel and it’s exactly what we got. We walked to the beach (about 10-15 min walk) and then relaxed by the pool. The property views were amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. "
