It is not a place to use if you have trouble walking stairs as it have stairs everywhere. Thin walls so you can hear a lot from the next room. No real breakfast available, just a bar with coffee and croissants.

First time stay and did hope for better. The food was especially ordinary. Gnocchi with boiled corn and peas. A vegetarian dish perhaps. Flavorless. Sirloin steak the next night was more like round steak, lucky there was pepper sauce to save it. Vegetables were boiled with dry hard mash... room was tolerable with a tiny balcony, not worth using, and a lounge that reminded me of Fozzie Bear.... Despite that bed was comfortable and a nice warm shower...the only pluses...

Different check in process that worked well for us. Not sure how safe it is since anyone can access the hotel area, but everything went well for us.

The rooms were clean, it was great being able to buy great coffee for breakfast, the beds were great! We will stay again for sure!!

Hotel was good for a 3 star the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge and the shower fantastic good water pressure staff in hotel were very nice so really no complaints

The booking in system is a bit convoluted, being online and waiting for codes etc. The room was on the second level, with only stairs as there is no elevator, but the room was big with a very large bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower and lots of bench space around the vanity and sink. The bed was very comfortable with four lovely pillows. Coffee and tea facilities were very generic with nescafe sachets and lipton tea bags. They also used those little long life milk mini capsules in the fridge. Not enough milk for more than one coffee for 2 people, despite being 4 little milk capsules. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

My stay wag good. Comfortable clean quiet room. Great water pressure in the shower. Secure parking. Only small downside was no freezer area in fridge. Freezer area is good for ice bricks for esky.

We would rate the statesman more highly as it was great in all other aspects except we had a room with a connecting door and so any noise from next door, like TV, talking, travelled through to our room and spoilt the accommodation. Won't stay there again unless guaranteed a separate room.

near public transport, Coles, coffee shops. Come back, lie on the bed and watch on the TV, my Irish language soap through the app on my phone, which was connected to your wifi. (I don't have a tele at home)

Bed was extremely comfortable. Trucks servicing Cole and bins were very loud in the mornings. Secure parking was excellent. Digital Checkin was great and lovely not having to carry a physical key. I would stay again and would recommend if you are looking for a budge friendly option.

Have stayed here many times prior to the refurbishment and was unsure how the no reception process would work but it was seamless. Great meal in the restaurant the night we arrived with helpful friendly staff. Clean spacious rooms. Would be good to have crockery and cutlery with having a microwave but other than that a fantastic stay. Highly recommended.
