"Very peaceful and a nice central location to all of Lake Placid activities. Doors are a bit tough and it’s difficult to drag suitcases since it’s all gravel. Would stay again!"

"we went a little beyond our normal hotel stays and booked a queen suite; we were not disappointed. The room was huge, having a separate bedroom made it very comfortable. The large counter in the bathroom was very helpful. Staff was very friendly and helpful, check-in and out were easy. The grounds were clean and well maintained with a courtyard and fire pit out back. The lobby/bar/restaurant area was huge and very nice. It's about a mile on foot to downtown Lake Placid (uphill) so think hard before trying. We would strongly recommend this facility and will stay here again."

"It's a historic propery- about 130 years old. But it's in very good shape. The place has character, but with nice attention to detail. The restaurant/bar is great. The fried cod and chicken meatloaf entrees were delicious, but I didn't like the string beans (undercooked). The room was cozy, clean and quiet (we had one facing the lake and not the street)."

"I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Cambria Lake Placid. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious (especially the bathroom and shower). Also, the room was outfitted nicely with a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had breakfast at the Haystack restaurant located on the property twice and each time found the service to be attentive and the food very good. The location of the hotel is great too, a bit removed from the busy main strip in Lake Placid. Highly recommend and will definitely stay at the Cambria for my next trip to the Adirondacks."

"Self checkin was very easy. Our door would not shut a couple of times but we figure it out .Nice decor Quaint town We had an issue with our AC but they fixed it right away. Bedding was very nice but bed felt like our heads were tipped down The floor was a little sandy. Very quiet area. Every communication was done by text. . We communicated with Daphne and she was wonderful!"

"My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Lake Placid Stagecoach Inn, and it was nothing short of magical! Before arriving, the owner Kelly, sent us a "Perfect Placid" list of the areas attractions with things to do and restaurant recommendations. So cool! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed - Kelly and her staff greeted us warmly and offered a quick tour pointing out the cozy common areas and sharing a bit of the Inn's history. The vintage accents and handcrafted furniture made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Our room (Kate Smith) was sooo comfortable, mixing rustic charm and beautiful modern amenities! Our dining experience was spectacular with seasonal offerings that support local farms and vendors. Absolutely delicious and everyone made us feel like family! The location is just minutes from everything, yet it feels like a secluded retreat. We sat on the porch and played cribbage with our wine and handcrafted cocktails. So fun and relaxing! We also visited the village shops, Mirror Lake, and biked the beautiful Adirondack Trail. Our whole trip was simply amazing... and too short! Bottom line, The Stagecoach has historic charm, 5-star dining, and a location that perfectly balances convenience with tranquility. It will warm your soul. We definitely plan to stay again!!
