"The retreat is stunning! Highly recommend. Beautiful rooms with incredible views of the surrounding hills, olive groves, and the valley. The staff is wonderful and the facility is immaculate. It’s a bit of a climb up the hill on a gravel road, but it’s easily navigable, and definitely worth visiting…you won’t regret it!"

"Pros: very clean, spacious room with A/C and great location with lovely breakfast Cons: what the description doesn’t make clear is that the “hotel” is 5 rooms sandwiched on a floor between a coffee shop (below) and pizza restaurant (above) …our room must have been right under the kitchen because until ~10:40pm (22:40) we could hear every chair scrape, clanging dish, and thumping music above us * if you are at all sensitive to noise this is NOT the place for you* ***the Expedia listing says...

"Check in was easy Room decent size with a nice bed, breakfast was okay, nice presentation, close to restaurants and main part of town, the ruins were 10 minutes drive, museum was 10 minute walk"

"Can’t recommend the Livia Garden Hotel enough. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to ensure that you are well looked after. Fantastic Turkish breakfast to start the day and wonderful location with easy access to Ephesus, The Temple of Artemis, St John’s Church, the Mosque and the Aqueduct. The hotel was spotlessly clean. "The room was clean, but the hotel did not provide blankets although the temperature was still low. The breakfast was not as expected."

"Good breakfast and the owner was very helpful. Our tour's pickup time was at 8 AM and he served our breakfast at 7 AM instead of 8:30AM the usual time. We communicate through Whatsapp and he responded quickly. The room is big, nice and clean just as the picture showed in Expedia. He has a pizza place in front of the St John Church. We ate dinner on his rooftop restaurant with a beautiful scenery."
