We were visiting some colleges in Cambridge and found this small Fairfield Inn relatively convenient -- walkable to M.I.T and an easy train ride to Harvard from MIT. Train station was within a 5 minute walk for rides into Boston. Grocery store not a far walk either. I've always found Fairfield Inns affordable without compromising any cleanliness or safety. Internet connection was no problem here. Plus, I always love the complimentary buffet...
