"I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn express in Malaga. The room was spotless as always, and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent the first day, but the second day I miss not having the bacon and eggs!. A safety box in the room would be a nice touch. Definitely will stay here again and would recommend it to friends."

"It’s a cruise ship atmosphere. Lots of people, lots of things to do and see, nightly entertainment. Must be ok with crowds during the high season. And the humidity in Malaga is REAL. None of the hotel common areas have air conditioning"

"Great view from the property. We liked the place overall. They have onsite parking for a fee or you can park on the street which is not busy since this hotel has a rural location. The only annoying thing we found was that the pool "closes" at a certain time (7 pm comes to mind) and they literally put up a fince around it to keep everyone out. In the morning the pool is not available until almost noon. The town of Mijas seems like a total tourist trap but has some decent food if you can find the place! The town is built into a hill and the streets are steep and winding. Free parking is limited but there is a garage if all else fails."

"We stayed here when we arrived in Malaga in the evening. The location was convenient to the airport with our rental car. The location was not good if we had been planning on spending time in Malaga. There was nothing to do in the neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens were beautiful."
