The location was perfect for the Pyramids tour that I took. Cairo is crowded and noisy; I liked having access to Cairo and New Cairo without having to be in Cairo

The Marriot staff were friendly. However the property is starting to show its age and needs to be updated. Many of the rooms are in need of repair and the exterior could use paint.

Das Hotel liegt nähe Flughafen, aber für Hoteltransfer dahin wollten sie 40€. Privattransfer nur 15 €. Das Hotel liegt deshalb nur für Geschäftsreisende günstig. Wir wollten gerne am Pool entspannen, ging nicht: der Beach war gesperrt wg Hochzeiten, sodass die ganze Zeit sich alles auf den Pool konzentrierte. Dieser war durch spielende Kinder total überfüllt, sodass schwimmen oder abkühlen nicht möglich war, da man ständig einen Ball etc. im Gesicht/Rücken hatte- von Entspannung keine Möglichkeit. Wir hatten Lounge-Zugang: das Personal war sehr nett, aber sehr begrenzte Speisenauswahl. Also wir ins ins normale Frühstückrestaurant: Auswahl enorm, aber: sobald der Teller leer war, wurde einem dieser samt Besteck unter der Nase weggezogen, Man ist hier an einer schnellen Abfertigung intetressiert. Rezeption: uns wurde 2x falsche Auskunft gegeben und sie haben uns über einige Sachen nicht informiert ( wie Aufzug geht, Frühstückszeiten ...) - wir mussten alles umständlich erfragen. Hotelhalle: zwar alles auf Marmor gemacht, aber alles zu gross, anonym und unpersönlich- Charme eines Bahnhofs. Erholungswert null !!! am Tag störte der Baulärm ( es wird im Hotel umgebaut/renoviert). Ab 9 Uhr war bis 16 Uhr unentwegt ein Presslufthammer / Bohrmaschine im Einsatz. Am Pool auch null Erholung ( siehe Kommentar). Am Abend Lärm durch Trommeln etc der Hochzeiten bis spät in die Nacht. NULL Erholung oder Ruhe Fazit: dieses Hotel nie wieder

The JW was beautiful and the staff provided the best service. My wife and I had a great time and would definitely recommend when traveling to Cairo. The area around the resort is still developing so there is nothing within walking distance. The restaurants have excellent food.

The accommodations and service was wonderful, but rooms were slightly outdated. I enjoyed the spa, dining options, indoor and outdoor pools, water park and "beach" options. The grounds were well maintained and breakfast was great. I recommend this hotel!

This is a beautiful hotel that lush with marble and old school elegance. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The location is very secure with well established security protocols. We found the quality of meals to be inconsistent. We preferred the offerings in the buffet and the Plateau.

The property is quite grand with lots of grounds to walk on. The gym and recreation area is excellent with good working equipment the hotel also has several nice restaurants which is good. The staff are very helpful and always keen to please. I left a two garments however the Hotel has not called inspite of inquiries

The JW Marriott Cairo is fabulous! Beach area, swimming pools, spa, soft pillows and bedding. Good food. Free airport service. Piano player. Friendly staff. Coffee, tea, water in room. I had garden view with sliding doors onto patio with grass and umbrella and padded lounge chairs. Has salon. Got a pedicure. I could go on and on. Lovely place to stay. Lots of security. And golf.
