"We cannot doubt that there was a lovely view from the back of the grounds overlooking the golf course. Unfortunately, it appears that the hotel itself is more of an afterthought to the golf amenities. Rooms are very dated and certainly in need of renovation. Bath robes not included in the room which proved tricky trying to get to the pool and back as you don’t want to put your clothes over a partially wet body that wants to just jump in the shower back in the room. "Beautiful location and room, however food was disappointing, bland and over priced. Service was slow in the bar and restaurant, and non-existant at times. Very disappointing as everything else looks well kept, maintained and well thought out."

"This is a lovely hotel in a glorious location and very peaceful. The view form a sea-facing apartment is splendid. The main complaint would be that the decor and furnishings in the corridors and apartments are very old and tired - really they should have been updated/re-fitted 10 years ago. Some areas smell strongly of damp or mould. Otherwise, the convenience, pool and gym area, and having a kitchen in the apartment make this a worthwhile choice if you don't mind tired furnishings."

"Eine ganz hervorragende Unterkunft. Das beginnt beim Empfang, es wird einem alles abgenommen, das Gepäck etwa oder das Parken. Das Personal ist zurückhaltend, aber immer präsent und ansprechbar. Für alle Wünsche werden Lösungen gefunden. Das Haus an sich ist wunderschön, mit einer Terrasse, die einen großartigen Blick in Garten und Tal ermöglicht. Der Nachmittagstee, Abendessen und Frühstück waren ganz hervorragend. Auch die Zimmer kann man positiv hervorheben. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!"
