"The rooms had an amazing view and the grounds were quite expansive and lovely. Ingrid and her husband made me feel so welcome, it added a personal touch to my stay. I noticed that there were many return guests, and I understand why. I hope to return some day too. It was a beautiful area to walk with my dog. And, the hotel is close to the city of Guimarães, which is an excellent day trip. It was a very relaxing stay, everything about it was perfect. "

"Make staying here a priority for your northern Portugal trip. It provides an amazing haven and break from the rush of travel. The grounds and village are heaven. Impeccably kept. The staff is kind, attentive, caring. The food is gourmet and local for extremely good value. The views are rejuvenating. The pools and sauna were spacious, clean and refreshing. "Check-in was seamless. They seat you and offer you welcome drinks. Parking is free with the options for valet or self-parking. We chose the rooms with terrace and views - this is the only way to go! The location’s amazing not to take advantage to wake up to the wonderful views. The facilities are great - i used the gym, indoor pool, sauna. There’s also an outdoor pool, good for a warm day. Shame we only stayed for 1 night, will definitely come back and stay longer. "
