I recently stayed at the Wyndham Wingate in Butte for two nights, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon entering our room, we were immediately struck by the filthy condition of the AC unit, which was dirty from top to bottom. The overall cleanliness left much to be desired, particularly with the disgusting state of the fences.
We had to call the front desk to address these issues, and it took over 30 minutes for someone to clean the unit in front of us on their hands and knees, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, we encountered problems with the TV remote; we went through two remotes before discovering that the issue was simply dead batteries. To make matters worse, the USB ports in the room were broken and did not work at all.
The most aggravating part of our stay occurred on the day of checkout when our room keys voided two hours early. As a handicapped individual, I had to maneuver from my room down the elevator and to the front desk to get a new key. When I approached the front desk for assistance, I was informed that it was a known issue with their system. Instead of offering a proper solution, they simply provided us with a new key. If they were aware of this ongoing problem, it should have been addressed beforehand to prevent such inconvenience.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my stay at The Wingate.
