"Staff was welcoming and helpful. Triple bunk was super convenient for our family of five! The pool was nice but the hot tub was broken so that was a little bit of a bummer. Appreciated the continental breakfast. "
"BEWARE! We paid a high price for this place because the listing said "breakfast included" and that it was a top-rated breakfast. In reality, the breakfast consisted of a little bag of cereal, a mini muesli bar, and a juice box, in the room. Apparently there used to be a restaurant on the premises, but it is permanently closed. Also, the A/C was not working. It made a noise like it was trying to start up every couple of minutes, but couldn't start. The noise continued even though we turned it off. Also, the carpet was badly stained in several places and there was an odd smell in the room. The "windows" were glass block, so we couldn't see outside unless we opened the door, and the TV was tiny. This is not the high rated motel that they want you to think it is. We feel totally mislead and ripped off!"
"There was no airport shuttle available - the pool was full of algea. When booking the property (2bed, 2 bath) I was unaware the bedrooms would be upstairs. Two of us are over age 65 so the stairs were a problem. Plus as soon as we sat down a lizard ran across the floor. Now honestly I have to say I don’t care for lizards in general but really don’t care for them in my hotel room. The sheets had some stains on them - I don’t want to think about how they got there. Young hip people probably would be ok in this hotel townhouse but old grumpy people not so much."
"Arriving after 11.00 pm and a long flight, we were able to book in and go to our room with minimum problems. Continental breakfast was economical and easy. "
"Honestly, I find it a bit overrated; its nightly price is only justified by its proximity to the airport. You can find places in the CBD for the same price and in better condition. Ibis Budget is a low-end motel that barely meets the minimum requirements. It's safe and quiet, but the place is awful."
