"Do not waste your money here, better to invest it towards something nice. Tired concrete building that is well overdue for a substantial upgrade. Room are typical Ibis style but just tired and very shabby. But the cockroaches don’t seem to mind. Upon discovering, to their credit the night staff quickly moved me to another room, no critters seen but tv had died - bit I couldn’t face a second room change late at night. Other issues: location affected by significant motorway noise right next door, no lift. Paid extra $36 for a one-way taxi from international terminal as they have no airport shuttle even though only 10 mins away. Bathroom tiny. Positives: towels were nice, (paid for) breakfast was adequate, staff pleasant enough, considering. Value: At A$200 per night I should have booked elsewhere and invested it towards something that didn’t make me so remorseful. Never again."

"I had an executive king room with lovely views, after being kept up all night with the neighbours loud TV and foul language fighting in the room and hallway I finally went to reception. I was kindly offered to change rooms, to a family room with queen not king sized beds and no view. Worst of all I was right behind the lift with an adjoining wall so had to listen to it all day and night. I am so disappointed that the guest who did nothing wrong was given a far worse room option"

"A toaster would have been a good item to have in the kitchenette. Very basic unit but ok for a late arrival and early departure. Handy to airport. "

"No elevator"

"First of all, the room was stifling hot when I entered only to find the air conditioning was unable to have the temperature lowered other than at Reception which is bizarre. The air conditioning on / off switch had a note to ring nine for Reception to get the temperature adjusted however the unit did not have a phone to ring nine - another failure. So a trip to Reception at least got some cooling on the go. Wanted to watch some television however there was no remote, another trip to Reception to get a substitute remote. The bathroom was next level of unbelievable. The slope of the floor was towards the door and there was no way of keeping the flow of the shower within the shower base thereby floodingthe bathroom floor and only numerous towels at the doorstop prevented it flowing out onto the carpet. Probably one of the worst hotel units I have ever experienced and it is only a few years old. Staff were pretty good and understanding and I think the building has some pretty significant faults which they are used to dealing with."

"It was just a quick stop between flights for us. But it was exactly what we needed, a quiet place to rest before our next flight. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the surrounding area quiet. We arrived after hours and left before reception opened but staff contacted us prior to arrival and ensured a key was available in the after hours key box. Would stay agin ! Thanks"

"Everything was lovely however we booked to go to the executive lounge which was disappointing compared to many if the Asian Hotels. Another small thing is they didn’t book our bus to the airport the next day. A minor thing and easily rectified but should not have happened. Saying all that I would stay there again but not book the executive lounge. "
