Hotel just appears overall run down. We had issues with check in, we had booked 2 queens and they kept saying we didn't. The bed felt like it had sand in it when I laid down, and when I went to use the towel there was black mascara smeared on it. It is in a nice area, and the prices were comparable to other similar hotels. But the quality did not hold up

Front desk staff was friendly and the room was clean, but very small. We couldn’t control the thermostat and the thin blankets provided were not sufficient. Also, breakfast was a problem. No hot food except waffles, but the batter ran out, so not even that. They need to specify thst it’s a continental breakfast. Plasticware was empty. No one on hand to check on things. Would not stay again.

The hotel was not in great shape. There was a smell of mold in the stairway in the hallway. Things were a little bit rougher on the edges. The worst part was that there was drilling and hammering in an adjacent room, and I simply packed my things and left the hotel.

The staff is nice and super accommodating. I called about the difference in the 2 Suites they offer. The young lady that answered the phone wasn't sure about my specific request. I asked if I booked a room would it be a problem to change ,she assured me it would not. She checked with housekeeping and called me right back and then offered to change my reservation for me! When we arrived the GM already had all of the notes about the change and had me ready to go! We had a wonderful room and a very peaceful night's rest and stay!

Pass on this one.
We stayed a few nights & settled on this hotel because of the reviews. Great location but it’s an average hotel…a little more expensive than it should be. Looks nice in the photos but in person, this hotel is showing its age (paint over damaged walls etc). Beds were fine. The water wasn’t hot in our room. Did not try the breakfast. There were a few nights people were being loud in the halls. TWO nights where the fire alarms went off & woke us up. You won’t get any rest here. Get a more expensive hotel & pass on this one.

Almost no healthy options for free breakfast. Other than hard boiled eggs and a couple fruit options, everything was high sugar bad stuff. Also they seem to not mind homeless people coming in to help themselves to some free food.

They aren't homeless people, we have a number of construction workers. That stay here long term. Regarding the options for a healthy breakfast. The breakfast area will be renovated in January. Once renovated, We will return to a brand-standard hot breakfast with more healthy options. Thanks

Very Happy with the Comfort Inn!
We had no issue with our stay at Comfort Inn. The amenities suited our needs. It's clean, the people are friendly, and it's centrally located in Buford which out-of-towners like us appreciate! It's reasonably priced, which is important to us. We'll be back!

My 2nd visit here in a year and 2nd time the Indoor Pool was not heated despite calling in advance to confirm the pool was open and working. The pool is ice cold and might as well be an outdoor pool. I travel here often and I will not be back to this location. I feel deceived and not valued as a customer. It is nice to know the sign on the door said the humidifier was fixed and working again.

Not much extraordinary, typical room, but clean. Didn’t give the gross vibe get sometimes walking in hotel rooms. No carpet which was nice. Pillows seem miniature, and a few more would be nice. Staff friendly. Breakfast minimal options but nice to offer the options and coffee complimentary.

Our room displayed ceiling damage where the plaster was peeling and separating. There was a long ceiling crack where an attempt was made to correct, but the crack was still very visible. There was a hole in the floor near the bathroom (Room 411). The continental breakfast not desirable with tangelos a little bigger than a quarter. (Bananas were ok). Guests were allowed to smoke outside the entrance. This was very offensive to nonsmoking guests. (Maybe a separate area under the trees).

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our only miss fortunate event was parking under a tree where birds must roost of an evening. The next morning our car was bombed by bird poop. After much laughter and a car wash we were on our way. :)

Little getaway
Exceptional service from the front desk and very clean room. Close proximity to unlimited shopping and restaurants, yet accessible and away from heavy traffic. Would definitely recommend.
