Wonderful property, but owner didn’t know any English so he avoided contact with us which made us feel unwelcomed. The scenery surrounding the hotel will take your breath away. We would come back here because of that.

Was extremely looking forward to this stay and expected an upscale swiss experience. It was disappointing. A basic hotel with restaurant attached and operates more as a restaurant. Located in a neighborhood up 18hairpin turns. Basic accomodations. Breakfast was breads, cold cuts, cheeses, and swiss pourage. Upon arrival I was told my reservation was cancelled. Meanwhile I had the booking on my phone. Nothing had been cancelled on my end. I had to to pull teeth to get a room in the dark up a straight hill at 9pm after driving on vacation 2 hours to checkin. She said I should be thankful. Which i was until I was charged $2 less for a basic room and I booked a premium room. When I showed the original reservation upon check out the host owner male got extremely agressive. As if customer service and just having a room should be enough. I tried to get a tea and got yelled at! Very uncomfortable surroundings for a hotel. Zero hospitality. Felt like I was staying in a restaurant with kids running up and down the halls screaming.

Ein sehr familiäres Hotel, sehr gemütlich und mit einer Sterneküche. Man sollte allerdings gut im Wandern sein und über ausreichend Luft verfügen.

The drive to this hotel was interesting. It’s up on the mountain so expect your typical mountain drive with lots of twists and turns and switchbacks. Once you reach the hotel the views are spectacular. The restaurant food is superb. The owners and staff are so very friendly and aim to please you. They go above and beyond.

Härligt familjehotell med hög trivselfaktor! En stor pool i bottenplan och fantastisk frukost! Dock är inte alla balkonger med vy mot dalen. Vår var med vy mot uteserveringen/ lekplatsen/ vägen och fläkten på taket.

zuvorkommende Walliseratmosphähre

Herzlich wurde ich empfangen.Zu meinem aus Holz und modern ausgestatteten Zimmer wurde ich begleitet. Zuvorkommend wurde ich nach der Uhrzeit vom Morgenessen gefragt was ich dann reichlich ausgestattet erhielt. Das Restaurant war mit sehr viel Sorgfalt und Sauberkeit eingerichtet .Das Personal flink und professionell, bediente die mit Finesse vom Koch zugerichteten Menüs.Auch auf der Terrasse im Kerzenlicht mit Blick zu den Alpen schmeckte das Walliser-Fondue und an der Bergluft erfreute sich mein Atem der mein ganzes Ich verwöhntet. Zur Wellness- Oase führte eine Treppe mit auserlesenen Kunstgegenstände und die die Töpfchen mit den Kerzen begleitet mich in eine besondere Atmosphäre nach der Bar mit verschiedenen Getränken sehen meine Augen das grosse Schwimmbad mit integrierter Whirlpool, auch die Sauna lockte mit ihrer Wärme. Durch erfragen an der Rezeption geben sie gerne Auskunft was es noch alles in der Region zu sehen gibt.
