This hotel was amazing. The staff were very friendly, professional and super helpful in accommodating requests. They assisted us in getting a babysitter for our boys, so that we could attend a tango show- our babysitter Milka was amazing with the boys. The food- from the breakfast to room service to the restaurant was top quality and very delicious. The spa and pool were also great- my husband and I had individual massages and it was one of the best we have ever had. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

We stayed at this property for four nights. The front desk staff, Sasha, Diego, and another gentleman who have forgotten his name were really helpful and made this stay exceptional. Love the fact that the hop on and hop off bus had a stop across the street and we were able to go around town and visit a lot of places. Overall, a wonderful experience.

For a 5 star hotel, the service level was not up to par. Upon check in we told them it was our 30th anniversary the next day. He said ‘very nice’, and that was the end of it. In general the staff just missed opportunities to be more valuable all along the way. We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental over my birthday and I had 5 staff wish me a happy birthday, a box of chocolates, then a dessert with a bottle of prosecco delivered to our room. They outdid themselves. The comparison at this hotel was stark. Basically if I ran this hotel chain, I would look at Mandarin Oriental and say, ‘how do we get our staff and service to be like them’. They would have years of work ahead to get there. Normally I wouldn’t expect much, but I had just seen how good it could be.
