"Clean throughout, light and warm and location worked well for our visit to family in Budock Water which has a good pub, village shop and CJ restaurant which is 5 star."

"Absolutely beautiful family set of rooms, stunning view of St Michael’s Mount, w causeway right outside. Unfortunately, windows covered w scaffolding and workmen starting on our 2nd day, making bathroom without curtains unusable. Reception unhelpful (blamed property company) until the last day of our complaining when they offered a small discount on our stay (but still didn’t cover window). "The hotel was great"

"Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help."

"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We booked 3 rooms as 4 adults and two children. Rooms were spacious and had a lovely balcony. We booked to be in next door rooms which was lovely. One of our party was a coeliac and the menu and staff gave food options which went down very well. The pool at the Spa was lovely and we all enjoyed a good few hours there. "Friendly helpful Staff Lovely room"

"Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out...
