Buddy Holly Center

A fascinating journey into the life of Buddy Holly and his musical influence to rock 'n' roll. This museum is full of artifacts and memorabilia that include many of his guitars and the pair of glasses he wore during his last concert at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, IA and recovered from the plane crash.

The J.J. Allison house is on display next to the Buddy Holly Center. This was the home of Buddy Holly's childhood friend, they played guitar and wrote songs including his famous hit "That'll Be the Day".
