They have lost an opportunity to make a charming interior in the main entrance, bar and rooms but have instead brought in cheesy carpet, walls that feel carpeted and just overall dated look that hides the charm of the building"

"Stayed here several times now. Our room this time was clean but very tired and needing updating. Had dinner and breakfast in the newly renovated dining room which is lovely. Food good and reasonably priced. Lounge bar is always a great place to chill or meet people. Staff all very helpful as usual. Lovely walks either way down the canal towpath."
