"Unbeatable location in the Park. Walking distance to canyon rim with spectacular views and access to the trails. Storied, 100yo lodge with cachet and unique atmosphere. It is very comfortable though not a 5 star hotel, but it entirely makes up for the difference by its unique character and location. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else."

Mountain Ridge Cabins and Lodging

10/10 Excellent
"Mountain Ridge was perfect for our stay with 2 Service dogs. It was more like an apartment with a separate bedroom, kitchen/dining room and living room. Only issue was 2 steps to bathroom, 1 step to bedroom and a little lip going to the Dining/kitchen. All were unmarked so easy to stumble on. But over 3 nights there we got used to the steps. Only suggestion is they put grab bars in the tub. Stepping into a tub can be an issue, especially with balance issues. Just a safety suggestion. Otherwise we loved it. Loved the bonfire with s’mores."
