"We stayed for one night to attend a concert nearby.
I'd booked a while ago and was a little dubious reading some of the recent reviews.
The hotel has a great location and is as you'd expect a Victorian seaside hotel to be, a little dated but that's part of the charm. The hotel boasts commanding views over the bay and close to the castle.
We had 2 rooms booked, both were spacious, clean and seemed to have new furniture.
The staff were lovely.
There's minimal parking, but we managed to park...
"Its not the most stylish or modern of places to stay but it has a lovely feel to it. Staff are honest, i left my ear buds and they handed them in. The building is quirky but i was so relaxed with my kids cos there was nothing to break/damage. I could smoke on the balcony and no one cared. I will stay here again 100%"

"We stayed at the Bike and Boot Hotel in Scarborough for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the modern quirky decor. We had a medium sea view room which had a large king size bed with a lovely modern bathroom. We had a fantastic sea view from our window. It can be a little difficult at times to find a parking spot due to the number of hotels in the area. We did not stay for breakfast as we thought this was a little expensive. We would definitely stay here again as we loved...
"A fantastic hotel in a great location. Easy to find with ample car parking at the rear. Warm welcome at reception and friendly efficient service. Room was immaculate and very well maintained. Great night’s sleep, quiet location and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fab, staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and would happily stay there again. "The property is well maintained and very clean , we found the room spacious and comfortable.
The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order.
The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area .
Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough.
The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break.
We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break"
