Lovely lovely staff, warm inviting and comfortable lounge area with fire. A quiet hotel...perfectly placed. As a solo female traveller , I feel safe, secure and comfortable. Particularl mention to the housekeeping ladies who were just lovley.

Shap Wells Hotel
Stayed 1 night. Staff very pleasant. Area beautiful and did briefly see one of the famous red squirrels. Seems to cater mainly for coach trips but they were well organised with this and it wasn't that impactful on us. Main eating area felt like a canteen. Room was reasonably comfortable

Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. มิลตัน เฮ้าส์ สตูดิโอ อพาร์ทเม้นท์ สูทส์
Staff went the extra mile to accomodate our unorthodox arrival time. Room was small (we had been well warned!) but had everything we needed. Fresh milk provided with morning coffee - a really nice toich!
