"Loved our overnight stay. This was a lovely tough of luxury from the hot tub and swimming pool to the complimentary mini bar. Would have liked to stay longer."

"The Hotel went the extra mile it was my wife 60th Birthday on the 7 July .The hotel up upgraded my room to house they done it up for my wife special birthday everything was immaculous fist class.The staff were only to happy to help 24/7. The Breakfast excellent top quality food plenty of choice. I Booked a spa for my wife for the 8th July it was more than exception."

"The location of the hotel is perfectly placed to walk into York town centre. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. Our room was small but very clean with a comfortable bed, the shower was particularly nice. The common areas were beautifully decorated and spacious."

"If you need a clean bed and spacious room close to the downtown area and the train station, this is a good option. Clean room and location this is it for this hotel. We have barely crossed the entry door and they were already hard selling an upgrade and other amenities. I asked why upgrade since we already had a suite but she could t explain the difference just trying to sell the 200 upgrade which we didn’t take, we didn’t beer it our room was huge and the restroom too. very rude hostess in...

"Decent sized room (stayed in deluxe double) for 2 nights. Admittedly didn’t feel particularly deluxe as the furniture was old and it felt a little tired. Clean enough but could do with a refurb. Car charging onsite was handy and good location without being stuck in city centre."

"Appeared to be a little run down in parts. Carpets upstairs were dirty and stained. Bedrooms were clean and had hair dryer and irons/boards. Beds were very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were lovely and welcome after travelling in the heat. Towels provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Did not eat there but had a drink. Prices were astronomical £27 for 4 lagers. Despite that would use again."
