"If you want a peaceful break this is the perfect hotel. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is really good and it was nice to see local ales at the bar. The room was comfortable and really quiet. We would definitely stay again."

"We received a very warm welcome from the staff when we arrived plus a very welcome glass of water as we checked in. The hotel is very well situated to explore Ludlow and the surrounding countryside, it sits an easy 10 minute stroll into Ludlow, crossing a very picturesque bridge beneath the walls of the castle and offering a dramatic view of the castle as you approach. We had a lovely first evening meal at the hotel, the menu is appropriately short and the wine list very good, a very nice touch is the offer of a number of wines by the carafe, great for couples. Breakfast is served in the light filled conservatory and again had a good selection of cereals and cooked dishes, with vegetarian options. Staff were really helpful and on hand to advise on places to visit nearby. All in all a very nice place to stay."
