"Outstanding. Stunning harbour views. Laid-back feel with friendly staff. Love the fact they don't mind you using the dining room for a takeaway and you can check in well before the usual 3-4pm, allowing you to make more of the arrival day. A bit of maintenance required (window catches, shower) but such a good place to stay it somehow doesn't matter..."

"A gem of a place. Room was 100% and the breakfast kept me going all day. Location is 150 metres away from the main street. I now know where I am stopping next time I am in Paignton. Very highly recommended."

"One of the best places - the subtle details and the very thoughtful touches created an incredible sense of delight. The hosts thought of everything, literally everything (thank you for the champagne glasses!). The attention to details was amazing. A fantastic Bed and Breakfast, very clean, and the breakfasts were incredible. Julie-Anne and Charlie, thank you so much!"

"What an amazing find. I have been going to Brixham since I was 6 years old (now 40) and had never stayed here, but so happy I did.
Super friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing.
Keep it up guys! I would definitely recommend and stay again without hesitation."
"Was happy with our stay - the position of the caravan made a big difference as we were staying on the outskirts - quiet spot - could see and hear the sea!
Caravan very happy comfortable and clean !! "
"On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom.
When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room.
Tommy could not do enough for us. Breakfast has lots of choices. You just have to ask as there's no menu. Again Tommy brilliant with service and prompt delivery. A very happy chap. Id suggest a pot of sauces on the table for breakfast as its "can we have, have you got" all the time.
Tommy stood out as a fantastic member of staff always polite and worked very hard.always a pleasure. Thank you
Our room was very cold at night no heating on except set times so pleased that we had a hot water bottle, but we both had to wear clothes to get warm. When spoke to other residents they said the same.(No phone in the room to call anyone) Room smelt musty so could do with maybe a freshener plug in?
The bathroom needs a table or some shelves as there is nowhere to put your wash bags down apart from the floor, and im not a fan of that! There could do with maybe a few more hooks in the bathroom too. 1 on the door is not enough. The room was tired, needs a freshen up on the paint and wall paper, beds comfy, lots of wardrobe hanging spaces, mirrors.
Enjoyed our stay. Reasonable price too.

"Gorgeous little place! Lovely clean rooms with great facilities, breakfast and breakfast choice, lovely hosts and a lovely experience! The walk to brixham harbour is super easy from this location and the parking included is awesome! Thank you so much again for such an amazing weekend! :)"
"This is by far the best place we have stayed! It's perfectly located with stunning views of the harbour, we had an incredible balcony room with breathtaking views that made our 1st Wedding Anniversary trip really special. The private parking was such a bonus. Such attention to detail in everything, we came away with things we want to buy for our own home to make it more like Beacon House. Now the breakfast, Oh my god the breakfast, every mouthful was just exquisite, from the freshly squeezed juice to the homemade french style baked beans. We've never had yoghurt with fruit and nuts like Beacon House do yoghurt. We made food noises with each mouthful! The hosts were the friendliest we've ever known and made us so welcome. We were so sad we only had 2 nights there. Well definitely be back!"
