"The lobby seemed dark on entering. I cannot fault the staff whom were very professional and helpful.
The actual internal building is very quirky and extremely dated as the rooms. Could hear the people in the next room so sound proofing not so good. Evening meal was cancelled due to kitchen problems which was notified a few weeks ago. However breakfast was served. This was in the old theatre room by looks of it very dated almost like a museum of a medieval castle type place and under hot plate lights however by time I sat down was on cold side and not a great pick me up as it’s my main meal time for me!
Served it’s purpose for overnight stay but will not be returning as I could not go more than overnight stay."
"Hotel in great location and room was clean and modern. Bar was good with a large selection of drinks and some food. Afternoon tea was great in the conservatory overlooking the sea front.
I would definitely recommend staying."
"We had the most incredible experience at this hotel! We picked it to be close to the water within our budget and it did not disappoint. When we arrived, the man at reception upgraded us to a sea view room as a surprise! The room was big and clean and the proximity to the waterfront is unmatched. It’s about a ten minute walk from the Lanes and the Pier but being a waterfront walk we didn’t mind it in the slightest. This is the only place we plan to stay in Brighton moving forward."
"Fabulous location just steps from the train station, and a delicious breakfast buffet. Staff were helpful, and the room was clean and spacious. Couldn’t really ask for more from a hotel!"
"We stayed two nights ahead of the Brighton Marathon. The room was clean, the bed comfy and the included breakfast was good. Also, it was great that we could have our dog in the room.
I was disappointed that the room didn't have a mini fridge, as we had brought some special pre-marathon food which spoiled because it needed to be kept refrigerated.
I was also disappointed that we had to pay another £54 for two days' parking at the hotel, on top of the £700+ we'd already paid for bed & breakfast."
"Room was decent (Comfy double) bed was good and general cleanliness all good. Breakfast was also very nice and plenty of options also well worth it with 20% hotels.com vip discount."
