"We stayed in the family room which was excellent. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had a good choice and high quality ingredients and products. And the afternoon scones and jam were delicious! Highly recommended and we’d definitely stay again."

The rooms are wonderfully maintained & warm all year round, the staff are extremely friendly & accommodating (allowing us to store our bikes indoors) & the food is amazing! "We had a fantastic time at the Royal Oak. All of the staff were really nice and looked after us. We stayed in Room 15 which is on the top floor and is nice and cozy, very clean and had aircon. The complimentry tea, coffe and water was good quality along with the bathroom products which were also available at the shop in the main square. Breakfast was 10/10 in terms oif quality (locally sourced) and choice. "

"Room very warm & cosy, lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom. Not really a wardrobe but a small cupboard with hanging space!! Fab food, great breakfast but you can’t have a latte coffee at breakfast!! Also breakfast finishes at 9.45am even at the weekend! Lovely dining room and great bar. Definitely good value and lovely location. Xx"
