"Gorgeous setting and so quiet!"

"Spent two nights and had a great time staying here. The hosts Nikki and Alan are the best. Nothing and I mean nothing is too much trouble for them. From stepping through the door they made us feel welcome. Nikki upgraded our room and changed our tv as the one in the room needed re-tuning. We were there while a Rick Steves tour was on, and the staff went extra to assure we were welcomed and well looked after too. They were super accommodating about answering our questions, and friendly - clearly seem to enjoy learning about us as guests. The hotel was full, yet we were well cared for. It was an easy walk too to get from the bus to the hotel, and then into town. "

"Absolutely stunning property, located in the heart of Pointiscale, Keswick. Easy to get around to points of interest by a local bus which is opposite the place and lots of places for local walks /hikes near derwentwater. Also close to Keswick centre (1.5 miles, or 25 mins walk). The hosts, Craig and Claire, were brilliant; friendly and charming. They have exemplary customer service skills and great knowledge of the local area. The hot breakfast was great and the touch of home made oat bars...
