"Only stayed one night but will definitely be returning.set in an ideal position for visiting Central Shrewsbury. Room was dated but as expected from a 15th century building.lovely comfortable 4 post bed and clean shower area.Pub was friendly and welcoming and food was delicious. We had a very enjoyable short break."

"Small double room, knightwick, has a toilet that leaked. The whole bathroom and bedroom stinks of mould because the floor must still be damp from the leaks. This room should not be used. The smell was so bad we had to leave the fan and light on all night. This was v noisy but preferable to the stink. Rooflights open all night. The door is a folding type so you can't even shut the smell out. Such a shame because the restaurant, pub and area are lovely and the food v good. Would pay not to stay in...

"Very comfortable and well-maintained room. Excellent easy to use shower"

"Lovely hotel."

"Tired, run down hotel in need of investment. No breakfast, no lifts"

"Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent."

"Well located to shops and city center."

"Lovely lodges, well maintained and nice hot tub Only disadvantage is not being able to keep the car at the lodge as my friend has poor mobility. We had been promised the lodge closest to the restaurant building, but we weren't put in there unfortunately"
