"What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine."

"Our recent stay at the Tor Na Coille Hotel was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by the friendly and attentive staff.

"The most amazing hotel in an equally amazing setting. From the river running past the bedroom window to the cosy log fire with the beautiful stag head above it, every detail was perfect. The décor was beautifully in keeping with the surroundings, with fly rods and antlers adding to the character and charm.
The rooms were well equipped, the bed was super comfy, and everything was spotlessly clean – 10/10 for cleanliness. Breakfast was outstanding and the perfect start to the day.

"We were in room 12 which was lovely and warm as always, love the shower in the Bathroom power shower ample hot water, and nice comfy bed, this wasn't our first stay there as, we love the friendly atmosphere and the staff are very helpful, great views especially from the resturant with it's picture windows looking out onto the North Sea.
Looking foward to our stay later in the year again, might opt for one of the sea view rooms which are slightly bigger in size.

"All is perfect! We loved all! My kids enjoyed the swimming pool, and I really loved the gluten free food! For me the Hunting chicken is the best Aberdeen’s hunting chicken (yes, eat the similar food in other differents places in Aberdeen! But, of the hotel restaurant is the best!)."

"All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was good and could be altered to suit different tastes.
The bus service to get into town is a short walk from the hotel.
It is not the best hotel and it is not the worst hotel by a long way but it suited us and we look forward to our next visit."
