"Overall, disappointing. I chose a pricier place for a wedding visit, and this was a letdown. It was basically a glorified motel. The hairdryer was attached to the wall and very cheap. There was no iron in the room. The bedding is tired, and the bathroom needs to be updated. I could hear guests above and below us. It was basically a glorified motel. For $200 a night in Powell River, I expected more. There is no breakfast on site."

"Kitchen was great. Had microwave, fridge freezer, hotplate, coffee maker and kettle. Even an air fryer. Had everything we needed. Place was clean and comfortable . I'd give the bed a top rating, slept really well. Although some aspects of the room was a little worn (floor/tub) I think the age of the property and price reflects this, so it wasn't something I would not have expected or was personally bothered by. "If I could give 100 stars for the staff, I would! Fayad at the frontdesk is exceptional! From check in to check out the service is *chef kiss* they even have a lounge area where my friends and I hang out and fayad made sure we got all we need and made us popcorn too! Will surely stay here again when we’re in Powell river! The location is very prime too! Very near to all the good restaurants and good spots! "
