"This hotel is newly redecorated and pretty clean and smells good. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There's a convenient Metro bus stop less than a half a block away that can take you straight to the Metro subways taking you into DC so that's a good thing. A couple small negatives to consider, the breakfast is the same thing every single morning with no fresh fruit or anything other than egg pucks and bread products. While the hotel itself is nice, the neighborhood is not one that you should walk around in at night and there's no restaurants other than fast food that you can walk to nearby. "

"The room used to be a suite (I think). The doors that separate the rooms have no sound proofing. We were woke up by talking in what sounded like normal levels. They can also still unlock. We left a day early because it was just uncomfortable. "

"Breakfast was convenient and adequate. Noise in our hall at 2:30 AM Friday was unpleasant but relatively brief"

"Fairfield is a very comfortable great hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well designed with necessary appliances (fridge, microwave, iron with table). It’s a safe area near police department and well located near fast foods. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that the window curtain connecting outside was transparent. There isn’t a second curtain covering it as its stops only on the edges. Staff is very courteous, respectful, kind and professional. "Spacious rooms clean and good location "

"The property and staff was kind and the room and ares were very clean- I would have given a 5 Star-But I arrived on a Thursday Night to visit my Duaghter whos is college and she and a friend came over to get away from Campus to relax- That was the last thing we were able to do becuase there was so much loud music at night till 3:30 am in the morning during each night we stayed- I thought it was the floor over me and they I call and complained and they informed that it was the club next door to the hotel and that they have complained for years. I reviewed the guess sheet for a warning or disclaimer of some sort and there was none posted. It was very disheartening, as we barely could get any rest until the club closed; which caused us to oversleep and even miss the complimentary breakfast one of the mornings. Other than this issue then hotel is nice clean and the breakfast was very good."
