"Great position but not the most attractive place, hot rooms but the fan supplied was great, although the windows barely open, the corridor during the day was cooler and fluid dynamics worked well by opening and closing the door 8 times greatly cooled the room A real bonus was the bed was extremely comfortable. So value for money, basic but comfortable"

"Pleasant hotel with spa facilities about 20 minutes drive from Norwich. Having a good size pool with steam room, sauna and jacuzzi was really useful. Breakfast was excellent - usual buffet with the addition of cooked to order items such as avocado toast, eggs Benedict, etc. Lack of aircon in the bedrooms was a serious deficiency - not helped by the room being fairly small. Bathroom was very cramped. Lack of a fridge was also a disappointment. Especially as there was a cupboard under the TV obviously designed to hold a fridge. On the whole I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in close driving proximity to Norwich and wants spa facilities - but steer clear of warmer months."

"The room itself was really nice, clean and great amenities. I was a bit disappointment that no notification had been given for the pub itself being closed, especially for the England game. However breakfast was still served the next day, I spoke to the owner and found out about an electrical issue in the pub so that made sense. I am about to book for another night soon, so I would definitely recommend staying here."

"The hotel was very dated and our room was small. We were in an attic room and the stairs up to it were steep and not very wide.There was far too much furniture in the room for the size of it. The bed was a very small double bed but it was clean. There was nowhere near the dressing table to plug in my hairdryer or straightners. The meals at night were ok but the breakfast was really good. All of the staff were helpful and very pleasant. We enjoyed the beer garden but it could have been better kept."
