"We had a very enjoyable short stay at The Canford. All the staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and friendly (Terry, Ross, Ellie, Lena, Taly). Our room was an Accessible room (although we didn't specifically book one) and was quite large and very comfortable, with a large, well-appointed bathroom. Being accessible it was on the ground floor and very convenient to the car park. The room was spotlessly clean.

"Greeted by very welcoming and helpful staff on arrival. Was allowed to check in earlier,which was a blessing.
The room was sunny, airy, clean and spacious. Bathroom a bit dated but very clean.
Room service available if you need one. On site secure parking as well as gym, pool ( small but pleasant). Withing bar area additional space for eating and entertainment like table tennis ( free of charge) pool and air hockey tables.

Didn't encounter any staff during my visit, only stayed 1 night & there was a contact number provided but I didn’t need to call for any assistance. Lots of options for breakfast & room was clean & tidy. Self check out was also clearly explained. "

"We loved the quaint nature of this lodge, nestled in the golf course. You do have to be prepared to drive up a small hill and parking can be quite tight but it’s well worth it for such a spotless and modern room which provided a really comfortable stay. "The room was clean and spacious, unfortunately the room next to us and in front of us of were very noisy and keep slamming the room door even after 12am. The breakfast was great and the family enjoyed that. It was also strange that we had to walk through the car park to get to another building where our room was.overall our stay was average. "
