"This is a lovely and peaceful hotel - the room was cleaned to a high standard, the food was really tasty, with a good menu and well presented food. I especially enjoyed the sea bass and there was a huge selection for breakfast. The staff are very polite and obliging - nothing is too much trouble. The grounds will look lovely in summer, but even in the winter they are still nice. I really recommend a stay here."

"Beautiful property. A bit of a rabbit warren but delightful to see the original features and feel the age of the building. Comfortable room and excellent bathroom facilities. Breakfast had most of what you would expect, I would like more fresh salad available. We especially enjoyed the walking route provided by the hotel, really lovely to get out and about in the grounds. "My second time staying at Holiday Inn Express. My room 211 felt smaller than my first room 108. A comfortable bed so I got a good sleep. The small table to sit down at was a little dirty as was the top of the shower head. Not a major problem but if I do stay next time, I would prefer to stay on the first floor"

"Comfortable stay with the necessary amenities. I would recommend to people as was just what I needed and bonus that it is dog friendly for when I stay again and bring the dog. Clean, welcoming and lovely breakfast in the morning. "

"Very enjoyable stay for a Christmas event. The food, waiter service and music/DJ were all excellent and the photography was an unexpected highlight for the evening. My only comment is the room could have been better decorated with Christmas decorations as the outer edges of the room were quite bland."
